Who We Are
Meet Your Hostess
I was always the kid who liked setting the table for dinner. I even asked to take etiquette classes!
Hi, I'm Alexis! I've been designing special moments, creating lively surroundings, and hosting warm gatherings as long as I can remember. I believe that feeling special is an important part of the human experience, and being of service truly fills my cup. I'm here to help you manage the less glamorous side of event planning so you can simply show up + sparkle!
In addition to picnics + parties, I own 821 Washington, a multi-purpose micro-venue, and manage The Washington Private Suites, both in the heart of downtown Port Townsend. Whether I'm perfecting your unique table setting or planning a tailored welcome at check-in, I put thought + intention into everything I do.
I believe my job is to co-create magic that leads to a lifelong memory for you, and I consider that an honor and a privilege. Let's plan something incredible!
Cheers!
Alexis

We give back as often and as much as we can, and offer benefit of the doubt generously. Enthusiasm: This work is rooted in a passion for service and a love of fun! We promise to go all in with you to create an event that exceeds your expectations. Yes, we're really this perky - it's just who we are!
-
InclusionWe believe love is love and do not discriminate, period. This includes race, gender expression or identity, physical or mental ability, and/or or sexual orientation. We ensure that the vendors we recommend and work with share these values. We are proud to be sponsors of Olympic Pride.
-
ReparationsEach month, we donate a portion of our earnings to Longhouse for the People. We consider this symbolic of paying rent to this wonderfully abundant land which was once even more wild and pristine, and was sold under duress to the United States government in 1855 for just $60,000. We are grateful to the Duwamish Tribe for inspiring this action. You can learn more about the "Real Rent" movement by clicking here.

SafetyPort Townsend Picnics + Parties is available only for events that are considerate of the safety and abilities of all invitees. We reserve the right to make final decisions that impact the health and safety of guests.
